The PSS-4FE+2FE is a 10/100Mbps unmanaged POE switch, which provides four DATA+POE ports and two data ports for uplink. Ports 1-4 follow the 802.3af/at standard and support maximum power output of 30w from each port. The POE ports of the switch can automatically detect and supply power to the PD devices that comply with the 802.3af/at standard. In addition, the switch supports auto-negotiating traffic control functions and is compatible with terminal devices of 10Mbps, 100Mbps.
PSS-4FE+2FE is usually used to provide power and data transmission for IP cameras, wireless APs, bridges, and IP phones. For terminal devices that do not support POE, the POE splitter can be used to provide power supply and data transmission. Switch supports Smart AI technology which detects non-responsive PoE devices and reboots them for recovery with a power cycle.
PSS-4FE+2FE adopts plug-and-play design, which eliminates the need for software configuration, which greatly facilitates the installation and use of digital monitoring and wireless coverage. In particular, the switch provides a set of DIP switches for easy transition between shared or port isolation modes. In the port isolation mode, 1-4 ports cannot communicate with each other but transmit output data only through port 5-6. This mode can effectively suppress the generation of broadcast storms.
